configure_common_email accounts

The following article explains how to configure your email account using a third party email client. Third party mail clients are applications that run on your computer and enable you to send, receive and organize email. Examples of third party email clients are Outlook, Netscape, Eudora and Thunderbird. 1) Select the Email Account option in your email client application (usually found in the Tools menu).

2) Select the type of account as POP3.

4) Set the Outgoing SMTP settings for your email account (usually found in the More Options menu). Check the My Outgoing SMTP server requires authentication box.
